Galiano Island paradise: A photo essay (part one)
Saturday afternoon we were island bound! A much needed family vacation.
Arrival in paradise! I could hardly believe it when we pulled up the long long dirt driveway and up to the property. True beauty!
Hanna wasted no time setting up her tent.
And we wasted no time relaxing.
I love these times.
It is so stunningly beautiful here, no matter where you turn.
I need to get the everyone out to this spot for a family portrait before we leave.
In the evening when the light started getting all gloamy and warm looking I BEGGED Hanna to come outside and let me take pictures of her and she graciously obliged, “JUST three Mom.”
Syx suggested a fill flash and ran to get an umbrella and handheld the light for me and was lucky enough to get FIVE images before Hanna noticed and stomped off scrunching her nose at me.
This is exactly Hanna, age 4 and half. I can not wait to see these printed.
We spent our third anniversary hiking with my brother Paul and his girlfriend Robyn.
Couldn’t think of any place I’d rather be.
Family fun with light painting!
We had so much fun with this!
STAY TUNED FOR PART TWO!!!!
