One of the best parts about having a family of your own is the traditions you create together. For the third year in a row we’ve gone out to Aldor Acres to cut down our tree. Hot chocolate, a bonfire and baby barn kittens – what more could you ask for? I seriously love this place so much. A cozy little family run farm, three generations living and working there. Their kindness and warmth keep bringing us back.
I swear it was the lower mainland’s first real day of winter, because it was FREEZING out, and Armenie definitely wasn’t impressed. She was much happier back by the barn with the kittens.
AND THE FIRST SNOW IN VANCOUVER! Usually we are holding our breathes and wondering if we’ll see snow at all, but this year we were lucky enough to have a lovely little dusting early in the season. The girls wasted no time pulling on their jackets and going out to investigate.
I love all the photos I’m collecting of the girls on this sidewalk throughout the different seasons.
Our Third Annual UGLY MUG party holiday party is this Friday so the next couple days, the holiday baking is ON! Hazelnut shortbread, gingerbread marshmallows and the most AMAZING chocolate crackle cookies you’ve ever tasted.
Recipes, pictures and MORE TO COME!
